China Buffet

Haven't ate here for a very long time. This time it was a very pleasant experience, clean and the food tasted great!

I love China buffet it fills my tum tum

Food as mediocre, service was ok I guess... but they never gave us refills on our drinks and never came and checked on us. Won't stop by again.

The food has gone down in quality over the past year. I stopped taking my family there because the food would not be stocked, choices were limited, or food was soggy or been out too long. $$$The price for buffet does not match the quality and food choices available in this restuarant. I would not recommend this place to eat.

Pretty good food, but not always great at keeping things on the buffet.

Good for a quick sitdown meal. Good selection. Wish they had the hibachi running and selections for that.

Pretty good but the one in rapid City just have a better and fresher assortment

My favorite Chinese buffet in South Dakota! The fried rice is actually brown and flavorful and not white and bland like other buffets. The black pepper chicken is awesome! I also love that their green beans aren't spicy like most other buffets make them. The sugared sweet donuts are big and they weren't hard from sitting in the warmer. They even have twist soft serve ice cream for dessert (my favorite!) My only complaints are that they don't have any drinks for kids (no juice or milk -- only tea, water or soda) and the shrimp dish was too plain for me, would like to see something with more flavor than just butter. It would also be nice to see egg rolls on the buffet. Other than that they are great!

The food is the right temperature. It is prepared well. Has a good variety of food. Clean family environment. The only complaint is their crab salad has changed. It use to be my favorite food to eat there. Now it taste aweful. I think they changed dressing. Wish they would change back.

Met the standard for an inexpensive Chinese lunch buffet. Nothing exceptional, but all satisfactory.

We are very disappointed. Me, my 5, 10 and 11 year old just left and our bill was 41.54 so I asked why and was told my 10 and 11 yr old were adults. That woyld be okay to charge them as adults if that was their policy but I clearly read the sign avove him that stated otherwise. He said no and swiped my card anyway. Also the food was average but cold and not once got service after the initial drink.

Not bad, good food, hot food could be kept a tad hotter.

Nothing positive to say. Tried this place twice when I first moved to this town and haven't been back in almost 2 years. You can tell most of the food had been out for well past the board of health's limit of 4 hours. Popular items like sweet and sour chicken was empty the entire time I was there one trip. Like most places in Pierre most of the food was bland even for what should be spicier items.

Not the best at all the place is very dirty needs a lot of cleaning and for 5 it’s $65. There were flies in the fruit which was soggy and there isn’t alot of choices. Also, the workers aren’t concerned about how we’re doing. Like if we need refills or the plates that are piled on the table. Wouldn’t recommend if you like a variety of foods.

Absolutely best place to go for your money. Great food, good service friendly helpful staff. Always a good choice

3 people under $30 was pretty good for a saturday lunch. Good food. Nice staff. Was packed but the food was hot and well stocked.

Cheap place to feed your Chinese food cravings, just don't look around too much. Clean-ish..could stand a renovation. Friendly and fast staff.

The place was dirty. We ordered hot tea which at best was warm. A lot of the food was old. Empty containers in the main buffet and the dessert bar. Stayed that way throughout the visit. We say down at the table and they had a sign that states they will charge a 15% surcharge if they feel the customer is wasting food. Bad atmosphere and so-so food. To top that it cost almost $30.00 for 2 at this buffet.

It was amazing. I suggest people get the cherry chicken it. Is. AMAZING!

If I could leave zero stars I would!! The food was awful! We took one bite and that was too much!! Told the owner we weren't happy and didn't want to pay for one bite of food that had been sitting out for awhile and had no taste, she threatened to call police!!! Extremely rude and no concerns for customers or quality of food!! Should be shut down!!

Limited choices in food, blinds were filthy, bathrooms were ice cold. 42.00 for 2 adults and 2 kids!! Not worth the money

Late nite leftovers. Hardly anything on buffet. Place says open til 9pm but at 730pm nothing was fresh or refilled. Most items completely out. Found black plastic in fried rice. Sweat and sour chicken was too hard to bite through. No service. Served our water and ignored until they charged us 12 dollars for fried rice and lo mein noodles.

It's okay. The egg drop soup and coffee cake was nice...the rest was average. Very friendly staff though.

Stopped here for lunch once while working in the area and was quite impressed at their lunch buffet. Food was fresh and they kept the buffet full.

Get there early for fresh food. Staff was a bit snippy, but wasn't flat out rude. Didn't give any refills on water and dropped the bill off after sitting down from getting our first plates from the buffet.

It has amazing food here. They normally just have the buffet all day it's all you can it wish is good. It almost looks like a real China place in China.

This place doesnt deserves even I star!!! When I walked in, I should have turned around and walked out. I walk into hot buffet lines with over cooked food. Almost every table that was in there was sticky, tables that had been used before me were left unclean. So not impressed. So not worth the money.

Friendly sweet waitress. Service fine. Food not so great mostly left out too long. Cleanliness is not the best.

I know when I come here I can always expect; to be greeted with a smile, great service, amazing food, a great environment, and overall a great experience. China buffet is by far my favorite place to eat in town. The food is always spectacular! I always leave here happy, and with a smile on my face! These people that work here are extremely nice and work extremely hard! I've eaten here probably over a hundred times and I've never once had a bad experience.

This place needs serious help, most of the food was either cold or hard as a rock or mushy from sitting to long or cooked to death. Jello tastes like cough syrup. Place was dirty and service was horrible. Lesson learned.
